ELWORTH, Richard Francis Age 53 of Dayton, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2005 at his residence.
Richard was a
loving husband, father and grandfather. He retired after
35 years of service with the Dayton Board of Education.
He was a member
of St. Peters Catholic Church in Huber Heights and a member
of the American Legion and Anglers
Club in Dayton.
He is survived
by his wife of 35 years: Belinda D. (Standridge) Elworth;
son: Richard E. Elworth
of Dayton; daughter and son-in-law: Melissa and Mckenna
Jordan of Dayton; sister and brother-in-law: Brenda
and Tim Murphy of Middletown; brothers and sisters-in-law:
Earl and Angie Elworth of Union; Jerry and Amy Elworth
of Englewood; Jimmy Elworth of Dayton; brother-in-law
and sister-in-law: Ed and Karen Standridge of Wilmington;
grandchildren:
Alexcis Elworth- Jordan, Isaiah Jordan and Richard
Michael
Elworth, He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard
C. and Patricia (Florenza) Elworth, father-in- law:
Clyde Standridge and granddaughter: Brianna A. Elworth.
A Mass
of Christian Burial will be said at 11:00 a.m. on
Friday, December 9 at Our Lady of Rosary Catholic Church
(22
Notre Dame Ave., Dayton) with Father Michael Holloran
and Father
Charles Caserta, Celebrants. Entombment will follow
the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton.
The family will
receive
friends on Thursday, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at
the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
If
desired, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice
of Dayton.
He will be greatly
missed by those who knew
